Welcome! This page contains an agenda for the upcoming 40th reunion of the Class of 1970 in Mexico City, to be held July 22nd through 25th, 2010. The Sevilla Palace Hotel on Reforma has been selected as the center of operations, and block-rate rooms are now available. If you would like to reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly, and provide the Group KEY (see below) to obtain the contracted block rate.

About the RSVP process - we'd like everyone to explicitly accept or decline, but at least maintain their contact information. To enroll, you will need to be sure your name (as the 'sponsoring alumni') in the contact database. Then you may select your name and register yourself and others who will attend with you. The Activities boxes may be checked, to give the organizers an idea of how many are likely to attend each one.

Fri July 23 Breakfast at Sevilla Palace
TURIBUS Bus tour of Mexico city, Zocalo, downtown Mexico, Reforma, Polanco, Chapultepec park etc.
Lunch open
Dinner at Tecamacharlies, whole group
Sat July 24 Breakfast at Sevilla Palace
Bus to ASF campus for picnic, games, sports and competitions, open pool party (whoever wants to swim), reminicing and other activities
Lunch: Barbecue picnic at school
Dinner/Dance at Sevilla Palace, band playing songs from 60's and 70's.
Sun July 25 Breakfast open
Travel

RSVP Procedure

Locate your listing in the AHS Alumni Database*, and follow the instructions:
*If you're not yet listed in the AHS Alumni Database, visit http://www.whynotsail.com/ahs/search.php and add your primary contact information, then return to this page to RSVP for the reunion.

Find: 

First, select a Field Name using the drop-down list, then and enter a string (or portion thereof) to search for, into the Find input. As a convenience, all searches are case and language insensitive; you don't need to worry about upper vs. lower, accents and tildes.

Then, click on the "Search" button, and matching rows will be returned. Here are some common examples:

  • "Class" with "70" or "1970" - shows the alumni of the Class of 1970 (Faculty/Admin are Class 9999)
  • "Last Name" with "a" - returns students whose last name includes the character "a"
  • "First Name" with "dav" - finds for "Dave", "David", "Davida", in the first name field
